In the great scheme of things, have you ever wondered about your significance?
If you were to approach life with the world view of an atheist, you would think you are temporary, with no lasting value or significance. In fact, from the point of view of evolutionists, or atheists, life is a roll of the dice, with no real meaning and no ultimate future. With this line of reasoning, it follows, that atheists themselves, are dead men walking.
However, that’s clearly extreme foolishness, as the Bible explains:
Romans 1 20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
The Bible calls atheists (and evolutionists) fools, but tells them to listen to the one who made them anyhow:
Jer 5:21Hear now this, O foolish people, and without understanding; which have eyes, and see not; which have ears, and hear not:
Deu 32:6 Is this your answer to the Lord, O foolish people and unwise? Is not he your father who has given you life? He has made you, and established you.
God has a message for these people.
If you acknowledge God, you can have a future, and a hope.
Jer 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
On the other hand, there is no future for those who are shown the truth, but still refuse to acknowledge God. They are, as it says in Jude “raging waves of the sea, foaming up their own shame; wandering stars for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever.”
God actually requires you to choose between life and death. If you don’t choose life, you automatically make the wrong choice!
Due 30:19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:
What if you just don’t understand life, and why things happen? Does that mean you can reject God until you find answers?
No.
Job knew he didn’t deserve the calamities he suffered and was baffled by them. But when Job acknowledged that God’s purposes were above his level of understanding, his attitude changed and he acknowledged God’s goodness compared to himself.
Job 40, verse 4: Behold, I am vile; what shall I answer thee? I will lay mine hand upon my mouth.
This opened the way for Job’s blessings to be restored, and God doubled them.
You don’t actually need to understand, to be blessed by God.
Prov 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.
But are you no more than a speck of dust to God?
Here’s the answer.
Psalm 8:3 When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; 4 What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? 5 For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels…
Hebrews 2:8 Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But now we see NOT YET all things put under him.
There is coming a future time when, under Christ, all things WILL be put under us.
Ephesians 1:10-12 [10] that in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him: [11] in whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: [12] that we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
In the grand scheme of things, without God, you are nothing. But with God, you are almost pure potential… 1 Cor 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
When you look to God to sustain your life, you are definitely more than just dust in the wind. And, according to Jesus, you are of more value than sparrows!
Luke 12:6-7 Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God? But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.
A quote often attributed to Mark Twain says “It ain’t what you don’t know that gets you into trouble. It’s what you know for SURE that just ain’t so.”
This article may tread on your toes if you’re already locked in to believing one of the common interpretations of Daniel Chapter 9 promoted in various churches.
This is significantly different to what you may think you know, that just ain’t so!
Can we calculate the specific year that Christ will return on? Maybe, however the conclusions expressed are subject to change and I’m updating this whenever I think it needs amending!
In a nutshell, the details below reexamine a prophecy in the book of Daniel, that reveals new information that:
1) Shows the correct year of Jesus’ crucifixion.
2) Calculates to the SECOND rebuilding of the walls in Jerusalem. (It was prophecied over 2000 years ago, and it comes to the exact year it was rebuilt, LESS than 500 years ago!)
3) Calculates the most likely year for the SECOND COMING of Christ – just a few years from now.
Key Takeaways
* This alternate understanding of Daniel Chapter 9 is building on many study sources and conflicting views, which also need to be examined for a thorough study, before dismissing this as not being correct.
This video is an example of the word studies I’ve considered, where I agree with some parts, and disagree with other parts, such as his rapture interpretation!
For more study, read ’Dating Christ’s Crucifixion’ by Pallant Ramsundar found at 2028end.com. Two other sources are Nick VanderLaan, as mentioned on my Unusual Flood page, and Daniel Larimer, referenced above, and in my previous post.
* Although the explanation is complicated, the calculations themselves are fairly simple. You can easily do this arithmetic yourself for verification.
* The 7 x 7 x 70 count up to the fall of Mystery Babylon fits perfectly into all the other uses of 7 throughout the Bible, and is 100% consistent with other usages of this Biblical number.
* You won’t need to wait long to see if all this is true or not!
The Jubilee Count
Some may not realise it, but the Biblical Jubilee pictures the coming reign of Christ, when men are set free from Satan’s bondage. It’s introduced in Leviticus, with various instructions about keeping it. Eg. Lev 25:10.
God’s true Jubilee count occurs every 49 years, see Lev 25:8, not every 50 years, as I and many others have thought in the past.
Each count is a total of 7 times 7, which comes to 49. The fiftieth year occurs on the first year of the NEXT 49 year count.
It’s like saying Sunday is on the eighth day of a 7 day week, but we still count weeks consecutively in 7’s.
Jubilee Years & Daniel’s Prophecy
Daniel 9:25,26 has been translated very poorly. It may have lost clarity going from Aramaic, to Hebrew, to English. as the original may have been written in Aramaic.
The numbers in the Hebrew text include 7 and then ‘sevened weeks,’ and then 60, and 2, (word number H8147), but the TWO here probably means a SECOND time, or double, or a second block of 7’s. Examples of Strong’s word H8147 being used to mean double are in Exodus 22:4,7,9 and 2Kings 2:9.
Notice it says again, and two, which could mean repeat, a second time.
For the purpose of understanding the possible meaning, an abbreviated and very rough paraphrase of Dan 9:24, 25, 26 might go something like:
“Seventy weeks are determined for your people. Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the command to restore and rebuild Jerusalem, unto Messiah the Prince, shall be 70 7’s (or 490 years, which consists of 10 Jubilees that each follow consecutive 49 year counts). Then later, on the 60th Jubilee, add a second group of 7 (another 490 year block making a total of 70 Jubilees in all). The street shall be built AGAIN, and the defensive walls, this time with the plaza (where the temple mount now is), and moat, even in troublous times.”
Add 490 years to the year of the Decree that was given by Artaxerses (Ezra chapter 7), in 457 BC, and we get 33 AD, or it could be 32 AD. That’s because Biblical Jubilee years don’t start or end the same time as ours. They begin on Atonement – See Lev 25:8,9 and 10 and 13. This is very confusing to me, as Exodus 12:2 says the year starts around Passover season.
However, the next verse, Dan 9:26 may (or may not), be saying that Messiah is cut off in the middle of a 7 for the first coming. If I subtract half a week, it is half of the last 7 years, and so, if the above count was correct for 32 AD, that would require subtracting 4 from 32, making 28 AD, which fits this interpretation of the prophecy exactly!
Several of my other research sources, such as the 2028end.com website also estimate that the crucifixion was in 28 AD. It’s backed up by adding 30 to the time of Jesus birth about 4 BC. There are many references to the year of birth, but I’ll just use this wikipedia reference.
Add 30 because that’s the age Jesus started his ministry, see Luke 3:23.
4 BC + 30 = 26 AD, then subtract 1 equals about 25 AD. That calculates to the start of Jesus’ ministry. Then add 3 and a half, and you have the crucifixion date of 28 AD.
Alternatively, some people argue that Jesus only had a 70 week ministry, not 3 1/2 years. If that’s correct, the crucifixion date may still calculate to 28 AD, so far as I can tell, weighing up lots of information from many sources. But that date is less important to establish than which date to calculate the second coming from!
I won’t dwell more on the calculations for Jesus first coming, because you don’t actually need those dates to calculate the approximate date of the SECOND coming. Let’s focus on the calculation for second coming, which calculates to 2028, only four years from now!
The Exact Year?
There’s a countdown clock on the 2028end website. I’m not confident about which day, but let’s continue.
I believe Daniel 9:25 is actually saying that on the 60thJubilee of the crossing of the Jordan in 1406 BC there will be a second decree to rebuild Jerusalem.
Multiply 49 (the length of a Jubilee period) by 60 and add it to 1406 BC when Israel crossed the Jordan into the Promised Land. Also SUBTRACT 1 to account for no year 0.
The rebuilding calculation comes to 1536 AD, but may also be 1537 AD, to be the year that rebuilding the walls started. Because a new Jubilee year starts in September or October, if it was after the new year in 1536, then we do have a perfect match for 1537.
That prophecy was fulfilled by “Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent!” who was the ruler of the Ottoman empire at that time.
The command was given in 1535 AD.
Ref. #1 wikipedia date reference here. Was it given before or after October, and does the command matter, or is it the years for building that matter?
Ref. #2 The second building of the wall by Suleiman is mentioned in this video which shows the actual inscription commemorating the rebuilding date, which he places at 1538, but, as above, it seems the command to rebuild was actually given in 1535.
(The relevant part of the video goes between the 2 1/2 minute mark to the 3 1/2 minute mark.)
The fact that there is an exact match in history for a second command to rebuild Jerusalem and it’s walls, in (it looks like) the exact year predicted in Daniel, strongly indicates that the “2 again” in verse 25 in the Interlinear, does, in fact, mean to do a second calculation from the second building of the wall.
Also, if you were to multiply by 50 instead of 49 for consecutive jubilees, there is no match; so this also argues in favour of 49 vs 50 for counting purposes.
The prophecy says to count a second set of 490 years from the 60th Jubilee rebuilding date, and because we got an exact Jubilee match at 1537, we need to count another 490 years to 2027. The Jubilee comes the following year, after the consecutive 49 year counts.
1537 + 490 = 2027 + 1 = 2028
Looking at the prophecy this way, you find an exact match for (1) the crucifixion year, (2) the building of the second wall in 1537, and (3) the return of Jesus exactly 2,000 years after he left.
(I think counting from 1537 is correct. But could you count from the completion of rebuilding, 3 or 4 years later, as referenced in Wikipedia? That could take you to 2030, or 2031.)
Anther Prophecy – Babylon’s Punishment
In Jeremiah 25:12 it says Babylon is to be punished after 70 years, and without reading carefully, it would be natural to link this to the previous verse, in Jer 25:11,
However, this is a dual prophecy, and the second part refers to Mystery Babylon (see Rev 17:5). The word ‘years‘ in Jer 25:12 simply means a division of time, not always single years. Often the division of time is in years, but the division of time in Jer 25:12 is referencing Jubilee divisions of time!
How do I know?
The land was prophecied to be an everlasting waste. And so it is today, although Hillah, in Iraq, is a modern city of half a million people only 11 kilometres away.
The remainder of chapter 25 describes the Lord’s anger with all the nations of the earth. Jer 25:29 and Jer 25:30, 31 says the wicked in all nations will be punished.
Most translations of Jer 25:34 say the shepherds (priests and ministers who prophecy good things to unrepentant people) will roll in ashes, which is descriptive of nuclear war (see previous post explaining this.)
The timing of the ’70 years’ also matches the Daniel 9 prophecy. Let’s calculate when this ‘Mystery Babylon’ is to be punished, using 70 Jubileedivisions of time (usually translated as 70 years).
After 70 Jubilee Years
Jubilee years are counted starting from when Israel entered the promised land, crossing the Jordan in 1406 BC. Lev 25:1-12. (Again, you can get proof of this date elsewhere.) Which year does counting forward seventy49 year blocks (as per Jer 25:12) from 1406 BC take us to?
70 x 49 = 3430 years. We must remember to subtract 1 to compensate for there being no year zero. Then I’m adding 1, because the Jubilee itself occurs on years following 49, so we arrive back at adding 3430 to negative 1406 (BC).
Answer: Counting this way, from start to finish, ends in the year 2024 AD, however, I still may have to add 1 again, as I don’t know if the event actually occurs on the year after or not, because the Hebrew calendar may begin the new year in October on Atonement 2024.
Six places in Revelation refer to the end time Babylon in symbolic terms, eg. Rev 17:5, & Rev 18:21. This mystery Babylon can primarily be identified as the USA, or, it may be a well known church! A number of books on this subject provide more details, claiming it’s the USA. The USA is a rich nation. Read Rev 18:11-13. Merchants trade with Babylon by ships. Read Rev 18:17,19. There’s more, but that’s also going down a rabbit trail, so I won’t get into it.
Suffice it to say, when the Bible prophesies about the fall of Babylon in the last days, it’s not really referring to the nation of Iraq. Mystery Babylon may be the USA, or it may include the whole world and it’s political and religious systems that go into tribulation.
The time frame fits into Isa 61:2 which indicates God’s vengeance comes at this Jubilee time period right after Isa 61:1.
Jesus quoted the first half of this in Luke 4:16-20, but he stopped half way through verse 2 before reading ‘the day of vengeance.’
Also, notice Isaiah 61:3 follows immediately after Isa 61:2, and it talks about beauty for ashes. Do the ashes come from a nuclear war?
Both Prophecies, and a Spiritual Entrance
Jubilee years started with a physical entrance into the promised land.
70 Jubilees later brings us to the final period of the Jubilee count, and perhaps when all the 49 year counts are complete (after 7x7x70), we may make a spiritual entrance into our promised land. (Go here for more multiplying by 7 examples.)
Seventy and multiples of seven show the perfection and completeness of God’s timing. If we were to use 50’s to multiply by, then seventy Jubilees would not end soon, but the end would have to come much too far into the future. Because there are so many other indications that show we are at the end of this age, it validates the timing.
I still have more details to clarify. But Revelation 10:7, ‘when the mystery of God should be finished,‘ surely includes the punishment of Mystery Babylon and Jesus’ return very soon.
If you’ve followed me through all this, you may be wondering how there can be two different end dates, both based on the Jubilee counting method.
They may both be correct!
Couldn’t God’s word give us a count to Jesus’ return, plus a count to the time of great tribulation for Babylon, or for the world, about 3 1/2 years before? Matthew 24:21, 22 and the whole of Matthew 24 tells you that this is something to watch for, and Matt 24:44 says to be ready… Jesus indicated that the time of his coming would be close to a time of nuclear war, which is an extinction event!
Luke 21:26 is also an end time Scripture.
My guestimate – and it’s only a guess, and may be totally wrong, is that October 2024 will be a very significant month for end-time world events to occur. Seven months later (another 7) in April 2025 the two witnesses may begin a three and a half year countdown (Rev 11:3), and then, September 2028 is a possible date for Christ to return… This is only a guess that I’m making now, months away. It could come and go, withnothinghappening. — On the other hand, the timing shows we are somewhere close to the verge of fulfillment for all end time Bible prophecies, and perhaps they may be fulfilled sooner than we think!
UPDATE VIDEO:
This video from the Redacted YouTube channel confirms the current situation.
This is the most terrifying message I don’t want to see happen. But at least one Bible timeline researcher believes a nuclear attack on the USA WILL happen this year, in 2024.
Are they correct?
This is not my own dated prophecy. I do not have an exact date. I’m referencing some dates predicted by others, but the events come from the Bible first and foremost.
Zechariah’s prophecy
Let’s look at Zechariah’s prophecy of nuclear missiles to begin with.
In 2001 Michael Rood (A Rood Awakening channel) wrote a book called ‘The Mystery of Iniquity.’ In chapter 9 he describes how, in 2020, he came to understand the true meaning of Zechariah Chapter 5.
Zechariah describes an ICBM. It looked to him like a flying scroll, about 10.5 metres long by 1.7 metres in diameter. See Zech 5:1-2. Nuclear missiles have similar dimensions.
The flying scroll (nuclear missile) enters houses, or nations (the word ‘house’ can refer to a nation eg. Ezek 37:11), and consumes timber and stones, Zech 5:4. (A normal scroll is meant for reading; it’s not nearly that large, and it certainly doesn’t consume timber and stones!) It is described as a curse that goes over the whole land, so it could be that the missiles are sent towards Israel, but it also says the curse is sent towards those who swear falsely in God’s name, which to me sounds like those who print on their money ”in God we trust” which is the official motto of the United States.
In the prophecy there is ‘a woman in a basket,’ (Zec 5:7) but Michael discovered the translation for the word woman, shown here, is more accurately rendered as ‘fire’ or ‘fire offering,’ and the phrase is more accurately translated ‘a fire in a container.’
Zec 5:11 is unclear. Is it saying the missile base being referred to is in either Iraq, or Iran (the land of Shinar)? Shinar ”the country of two rivers” can mean Babylon, but in the end time ‘Babylon‘ may predominantly reference the USA, also a country of two main rivers.
Dan Larimer (more on Dan below) says a better rendering of verse 11 would be “And he said to me, to build a fire in the land of Babylon, and it shall arrive and be thrown down upon the ground.”
Dr. E. W. Bullinger says the number 24 is the number of Divine revelation. Given that Michael Rood unravelled this prophecy 24 years ago in about October 2000, and the destruction of the United States may happen in October 2024 according to Dan Larimer’s prophecy research I’ve mentioned below, which is 24 years later, it’s interesting!
The following is a very brief overview of various other probable references in the Bible to nuclear destruction in the end time.
Joel’s prophecy
Joel 2:3 A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth: the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them.
Isaiah’s prophecy
The world’s oldest continuously inhabited city is prophesied to be destroyed completely…
Isaiah 17:1 The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap.
In one night!…
Is 17:14 At evening time, behold, there is terror! Before morning they areNO MORE…
Isaiah 24 – the whole chapter appears to speak about a nuclear war.
Check out Isa 24:6.
Isaiah Chapter 33 “who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?” is speaking of nuclear fire, not hell fire as some may have supposed.
Jeremiah’s prophecy
Jeremiah 50 and 51. It says four times in these two chapters that Babylon’s destruction comes from the north.** Anciently, so far as I can tell it actually came from the east, but I could be wrong. However, if modern USA is primarily Babylon in prophecy, when you keep going north beyond Canada, you come to Russia.
Relevant nuclear destruction verses may be Jer 50:3, 9, 23, 29, 39, 40, 46. Verse 40 is especially telling.
Jeremiah 51:25 talks about a burnt mountain. ”Behold, I am against thee, O destroying mountain, saith the LORD, which destroyest all the earth: and I will stretch out mine hand upon thee, and roll thee down from the rocks, and will make thee a burnt mountain.” As shown in my last post, a mountain in the Bible often means a nation.
Daniel’s prophecy
Daniel 9 – last part of verse 26 (BSB) says: The end will come like a flood, and until the end there will be war; desolations have been decreed.
I’ve seemingly pulled this out of context, but it may actually be talking about this year, according to Daniel Larimer (Dan is also a blockchain multimillionaire and the founder of Steemit and BitShares).
The sign of Jonah appears to have been the two eclipses over the USA that most people have already forgotten. I don’t agree with everything Troy Brewer says (same with Michael Rood and Dan Larimer), but he was one of the YouTube presenters that explained his take on these events recently.
Amos
To save me repeating myself, I touch on some of the verses in Amos, where I speculate about the White House being destroyed, here.
Jesus’ prophecy
Revelation comes from Jesus, Rev 1:1.
Rev 6:12-14 describes nuclear war. Also, the whole of Revelation chapter 18 carries the theme that Babylon is fallen. This is clearly a modern Babylon, and it happens by nukes, in one day. Rev 18:8.
Zephaniah’s prophecy
I believe Zep 3:6 is a nuclear prophecy also.
In fact, there are even more Biblical books and places I haven’t yet mentioned, indicating nuclear annilation, and probably world war, as a result of ignoring God’s words.
If by now you’re thinking you need a place of safety, check this page.
Dumb Dogs
Isa 56:10 calls most of todays priests who wear collars that look like dog collars, dumb dogs. They should be warning people of these prophecies, but they refuse to bark.
However, having read this, the responsibility to act on the information is now yours.
You should not ignore this.
This digitally altered image is sourced from the Radio Church of God’s 1956 booklet called “1975 in prophecy.” The Booklet predicted a future world war iii. The church received a lot of criticism when nothing happened in 1975. However, seven is god’s number for finishing or completing things… When the booklet was published, It was simply a little under 70 years ahead of it’s time, and the title, “1975 in prophecy,” may turn out to have Been 49 years before, or 7 x 7 years in advance Of the actual year of fulfillment… On the other hand, nuclear war may still be delayed for a little while longer.
**In most modern English language countries, including Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, any hostile attack would also most likely come from the north.
Jesus said, in Mark 11:23 KJV — For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.I
Really? Isn’t that impossible?
It says we must BELIEVE.
So I’ve written the following with that goal in mind.
Decoding some terms
I’ve covered a lot of ground below, and bolded significant terms in order to explain them.
First, Biblically speaking, what is a mountain?
MOUNTAIN
God uses physical things that we see to help us understand things we can’t see. If you think the mountain being spoken of in Jesus’ words is a metaphor for a problem, well, it is. But a mountain can represent more than that.
We are in a plain on the earth. God is high above us (Isa 55:9) like a mountain, and beneath us, metaphorically speaking, there is a bottomless pit.
Sometimes we are faced with a problem, or a mountain that has raised itself above the plain, often pushing itself higher where it has no right to be.
In Revelation 17:6 there is an evil woman.
In Rev 17:9 she sits on seven mountains.
A woman symbolizes a church. The woman doesn’t just sit on one city. This is talking about a church who has power over seven nations or countries. But this doesn’t last.
Hab 3:6 He stood, and measured the earth: he beheld, and drove asunder the nations; and the everlasting mountains were scattered, the perpetual hills did bow: his ways are everlasting.
The Bible explains that in the future, God’s mountain will prevail over the other mountains:
Isa 2:2 And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD’S house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.
Also Micah 4:2 and other places show this.
SEA
Next, what is the sea, as a metaphor?
I think the sea often represents spiritually dead people and nations!
Psa 65:7 Which stilleth the noise of the seas, the noise of their waves, and the tumult of the people. Rev 20:13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. Jud 1:13 Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.
Rev 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.Isa 57:20 But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt. Psa 98:7, Eze 26:3, etc.
Does that sound like spiritually dead people?

LIVING WATERS
What are living waters, as opposed to sea?
John 7:38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
Jer 2:13 for my people have committed two evils: they have forsaken me, the fountain of living waters, and hewed out cisterns for themselves, broken cisterns that can hold no water.
Isa 11:9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters(here representing God’s Spirit) cover the sea(representing Satan’s influence).
So far I’ve covered mountains and water. But is there any other mention of someone in the Bible removingmountains?
Yes.
Zerubbabel
It seems Zerubbabel can remove mountains!
Zec 4:7 Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabelthou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.
Who is Zerubbabel?
Hag 2:21 Speak to Zerubbabel, governor of Judah, saying, I will shake the heavens and the earth; (also Hag 2:22 & 2:23).
Zerubbabel was a governor of Judah.
Judah, under Zerubbabel’s direction, worked to rebuild God’s temple in Jerusalem after their return from Babylonian captivity. (The Samaritans, in the North, also built a rival temple, however in 168 BC the Samaritans sided with the Syrians and named it the Temple of Jupiter.)
Zec 4:9 The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house (there are more connections with this word below); his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto you.
Zec 4:6 Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.
So Zerubbabel seems to represent Christ’s spirit working in God’s house or temple.
Zerubbabel holds a plumbline.
Plumbline /measure
You can figure the meaning of plumbline from these verses.
Zec 4:10 For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabelwith those seven; they are the eyes of the LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth.
Also see Amos 7:7, Amos 7:8, and Isa 28:17.
2Ki 21:13 And I will stretch over Jerusalem the line of Samaria, and the plummet of the house of Ahab (Israel’s most wicked king): and I will wipe Jerusalem as a man wipeth a dish, wiping it, and turning it upside down.
A plumbline in the above verses symbolises judgement, and is used to measure the building of God’s house or temple.
TEMPLE /HOUSE /ZION
The Jews plan to rebuild God’s destroyed temple in Jerusalem. But genuine Christians should understand that God has already rebuilt His temple – in them!
1 Cor 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
Also see 2 Cor 6:16, and 1 Cor 3:17,
Jesus famously gave the sermon on the mount, or mountain (Matthew 5, 6 & 7). This is the mountain we are to gather from. Hag 1:8 Go up to the mountain, and bring wood, and build the house; and I will take pleasure in it, and I will be glorified, saith the LORD.
Hag 2:7 And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the LORD of hosts.
Christ’s words living in us give us glory. God measures our work building the templewho we are. We have to build according to his standards.
We also are to rise and measure the temple being built in us, with Christ as the chief cornerstone.
Rev 11:1 And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. ‘Measure‘, in Strong’s Concordance, means to ascertain in size by a fixed standard.
Again, here are more verses: 1 Cor 3:16, 2 Cor 6:16, and 1 Cor 3:17,
Mic 4:1 But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of the LORD shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it.
Notice, WE are the Lord’s mountain.
We are the house of God, – the temple of God:
We are built on the sure foundation of Jesus in us.
Eph 2:20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;
Col 1:27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
Isa 28:16 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste.
We have a precious corner stone in us, for us to build upon.
Mic 4:2 And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
We are Zion, the house of the Lord, the mountain of God. Matt 21:5
Isa 40:9 O Zion, that bringest good tidings, get thee up into the high mountain; O Jerusalem, that bringest good tidings, lift up thy voice with strength; lift it up, be not afraid; say unto the cities of Judah, Behold your God!
Check the verses in this screenshot:
According to the verses above, in future, Jerusalem or Zion, which refers to Christians, will not be intimidated by a mountain because theywill BE the higher mountain.
GOD dwells in this high mountain, and for Christians, God dwells in us now.
We are the house. We are the temple, and we have the Zerubbabel authority to move the other mountains into a plain.
We can move mountains, and with God’s help overcome ANY obstacle.
Before us, all other mountains will become a plain!
Practical Application
The way I understand Jesus words, he’s saying whosoever shall say unto this mountain, or problem, whether it be a small problem, or nation sized, “be removed, and cast into the sea (or realm of the dead?),” and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that Christ lives in him, who has authority that, like a mountain, is above all things to commandthose things, that which he says will come to pass!
More
In time I may add some more to this study, as it’s not perfect. But if any of the verses above increase your faith, I encourage you to do your own word study, and see where it leads you.
———–——-
This section is following on from the above, but is only partially complete…
A mountain, if it’s not God’s mountain, is a work of the devil…
2Thes2:3-4 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself ABOVE all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God (is temple literal, metaphorical, or both?), shewing himself that he is God.
This is another mountain we are to cast into the sea.
The Bible is a message from God in BOOK form, but it also contains short messages that include specific messages sent to you!
If you are part of Jesus spiritual body, then you are part of Jesus church in this end time, so this is also a message given from Jesus, and sent to you.
Let’s take a closer look at this message.
The rest of this post is pure speculation on my part, and may not be 100% correct.
The Laodicean message includes a call to repentance (verse 19). More than mere confession (like Catholicism teaches) is needed.
In my opinion, when they repent, Laodiceans become Philadelphiansto whom Jesus comes quickly Rev 3:11 (It says ‘Behold, I come quickly‘ in the KJV, and Strong’s says it means shortly, without delay) even though verse 10 is addressed to those who have now passed away.
The brief message to Philadelphia is written in verses 7 to 12, as follows:
7 And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;
8 I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.
9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.
10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.
Now please follow my train of thought.
The following verses all indicate that Philadelphia and Laodicea may do the work of the two witnesses in Revelation chapter 11.
The Philadelphians are given an open door… Rev 3:8 Jesus is the door. John 10:9. The two witnesses are also given an open door, in that no-one can stop their message. Rev 11:5
Christs followers are sent out to the world with power… Luke 10:19 The witnesses also have power. Rev 11:3 and Rev 11:6. In Rev 3:8 you can read the Philadelphians have “a little strength” but the word ‘little’ can alternatively be translated as a “brief, or short time” of strength (‘little’ is used this way in John 7:33).
They are sent as witnesses… Acts 1:8 Jesus is the true witnesses. Rev 3:14. Jesus’ truth can be in the mouth of two or more witnesses. Matt 18:16 or 2 Cor 13:1 and read Isaiah 43. Look at verses 7, 8 and 10 as follows.
7 Even every one that is called by my name (prophetically referring to churches of God?): for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.
8Bring forth the blind people that have eyes (this is a match with Rev 3:17), and the deaf that have ears (this is a match with Rev 3:22). (Could this refer to repentant Laodiceans?)
9 Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the people be assembled: who among them can declare this, and shew us former things? let them bring forth their witnesses, that they may be justified: or let them hear, and say, It is truth.
10 Ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.
For those who belong to Jesus, Jesus now lives inside them. John 14:18, John 14:20, Romans 8:9,10,11
Jesus is the Comforter and he comes into us through his Spirit. I have a more complete teaching on that subject here.
Witnesses for Jesus carry Jesus’ authority, not their own.
Time may prove me wrong, but I’m speculating that in Revelation 11 the ‘two’ witnesses that are given power (e.g. Rev 11:6) could be you and me, and allthose who witness for the truth at the very end! Read About & Why for nicetiminghere.
The number two may be symbolic. I realise many people will tell me the two witnesses are Enoch and Elijah and so forth, with other candidates, but I don’t buy that.
People say the church is not mentioned after Revelation chapter 3, but perhaps it is. Could Revelation chapter 11 refer to the last two church groups – Philadelphians and repentant Laodiceans?
Scriptures that Definitely Seem to Connect
Let me show you more matching verses about lampstands, about sleeping, and about anointing that seem to all correlate with each other:
Rev 1:20 says the 7 churches are 7 lampstands.
Matt 25:7 talks about ten virgin’s, who are church members that have been invited to Jesus wedding supper, waking out of sleep and trimming lamps just before Jesus returns.
Zech 4:1 mentions waking from sleep, and Zech 4:2 talks about 7 lamps. ***
Then Zech 4:14 says two of them are two anointed ones.
Laodiceans are told to anoint their eyes in Rev 3:18.
Rev 11:4 says two of the lampstands are two witnesses (see below regarding the two olive trees).
Putting these together, you have churches waking from sleep, trimming their lamps, anointing their eyes, and as anointed ones, witnessing for God.
*** The next verse, Zechariah 4:3, then goes on to talk about olive trees and olive oil. Some think olive trees represent Jews, and from that they deduce that the two witnesses are Jews and Gentiles, but that idea is very problematic. Are the two olive trees two churches, with the oil representing Jesus’ Spirit flowing through them? Did you know that Gethsemane, where Jesus was arrested, means Olive Press! It seems that Christ is the olive tree vine, and we are the branches – John 15:5. (Romans 11:18 etc is often misapplied to say Jews are the root, but it is referring to Christ. Romans 15:12.) Perhaps Christ is also the tree of life (Rev 22:2) from whose side the river flows, which is why the two witnesses can also be two olive trees (Rev 11:4) , and represent God to the world as God’s Spirit flows through them, symbolised by two branches and two trees. John 15:5.
(People can look like trees walking – Mark 8:24.)
Isaiah 61, the last half of verse 3, “that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.”
Before I give you Jesus‘ private email address, I’d like to mention an email message that, in a sense. you could say Jesus sent to you!
Okay, it’s not exactly an email, but it almost qualifies, and the only reason it doesn’t is because it was written almost 2,000 years ago. It’s like an email because it’s short and punchy, and it’s addressed to the messenger (angel can be translated messenger) of the end-time church today, who of course, knows about email!
It’s in Revelation chapter 3, verses 14 to 21. You may already be familiar with it.
Notice that it begins with a To: and then includes a Subject: – and notice that it says it’s to be written. The first two verses in the King James version read as follows. In a Red Letter Bible it’s written in red, as are all the words of Jesus.
Because that’s in King James language, I want to give you a screenshot from my phone of verse 15 in a modern version.
The start of verse 15 is the relevant section you need to know, to contact Jesus by email!
Because it says Jesus knows our works, or as this version says, he knows everything we do, that gives us, in a sense, Jesus private email address! If we want to, we can write an email to Jesus, and send it to our own address. Because Jesus knows everything we do, when we write to Jesus (and send it to ourself), Jesus will also get it!
A Very Personal Address
This is especially true for those who belong to Jesus, as Jesus lives inside them. John 14:20
Rev 3:20 in the ’email’ to Laodiceans, Jesus also says he is willing to come in to us.
Wycliffe-Modern translation says “I shall enter to him”
2 Corinthians 13:5 and other verses, show this is more personal than Jesus simply visiting us.
In a very real way, our email address can be Jesus’ email address. That’s because we have a wireless connection to God. If I wanted to be funny I could say God is in the ‘Cloud.’
But I’m actually being serious.
Isaiah 65:24 is another place in the Bible that tells us, in essence, the same thing.
“It will also come to pass that before they call, I will answer; and while they are still speaking, I will hear.”
We don’t need to send Jesus an email, but we could if we wanted to.
The Bible contains a message from God to us in BOOK form, but it also contains short messages, or if you like, emails from God to us written all through it. It includes specific messages sent to you, in real time right now, if you choose to read them.
In Matthew 6:12 Jesus made it clear we do not need to go through any third party to confess our sins. The Matthew 6 prayer is an example of direct communication with God.
God wants to communicate back and forward directly with you.
You can use email, or just talk.
If you do send an email you can star it or put it in a box marked important. But Jesus will get the message regardless…
There is a proviso, I suspect your email may bounce without giving respect, reverence, honesty, and commitment to follow Jesus’ commandments.
How will Jesus reply?
You know that God’s response is not limited to email.
God and Christ will speak into your heart, or through circumstances or things said in your presence, or something you read, or in other ways unknown right now.
Be patient. Luke 21:19
In due time, an answer will come! Jer 33:3, Jer 29:11-13,
And, if you’ve made a request according to God’s will, the answer is, and always will be ‘Yes!’
As it says in 2 Corinthians chapter 1 and verse 20…
For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.
When the Israelites came out of Egypt over three thousand years ago, they were delivered from slavey and bondage to the Egyptians. They were supernaturally protected and helped by God.
It was a type that pictures Christians coming out of sin, and being helped by God today.
Today, if you are a follower of Christ you are meant to be separated from the world’s pagan systems and be different from the rest of the world, so that now, you ALSO can be given special miracles and favour from God!
Please note that the Israelites didn’t need to fight their own battles. They were told that God would fight for them. All they needed to do was to hold their peace, and stay calm, be still, or keep silent. Exodus 14:14 The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.
When Moses told the Israelites “the Lord shall fight for you,” it was a promise that we can also apply to ourselves today, because the same principles hold true when we come out of this world’s way of thinking, and trust in God to fight for us. Psalm 32:10 Many sorrows shall be to the wicked:But he that trusteth in the Lord, mercy shall compass him about. Deut 20:4. For the Lord your God is he that goeth with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.
In the Old Testament the Israelites refused to trust God. You can read some of the history in Deuteronomy chapter 1 here. You will see in the last few paragraphs that because of this, the relationship between these disbelieving people and God changed. The wars they fought were not necessary. They didn’t trust God or believe Him, so God allowed them to fight, but it was not His original intention.
Exodus 23:28 And I will send hornets before thee, which shall drive out the Hivite, the Canaanite, and the Hittite, from before thee.
God’s original plan was to send hornets to drive Israel’s enemies out of the land for them, so they wouldn’t have to fight!
The battles we face are not usually physical battles against attacking armies. However we do wrestle against spiritual wickedness in high places Eph 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
But also we have everyday circumstances and trials of life to contend with. In every case, if we seek His help, our God will fight all of our battles for us, whether they be difficult circumstances involving our jobs, our transportation, our housing, our health, or whatever.
If we lack faith, God will allow us to fight our own battles, but we don’t need to.
True Christians are separated from the rest of society when they dedicate themselves to living by Biblical principles.
Read 2Co 6:17 to verify this concept. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. God made a difference between the Israelites and the Egyptians, and we are to be different today.
This gives us the very same promises of blessing and protection the Israelites had, and then lost, because God shows no favoritism, and He changes not.
Romans 2:11 For there is no respect of persons with God. + Acts 10:34, and Heb 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. + Mal 3:6.
We are protected when we come under the blood and protection of Christ. There are many New and Old Testament verses confirming this.
Examples include: Exodus 12:13 And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt. John 6:56 He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him. 2Thes 3:3 But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil. Deut 31:6 Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
Even our animals are protected! – see Exodus 9:4 And the Lord shall sever between the cattle of Israel and the cattle of Egypt: and there shall nothing die of all that is the children’s of Israel.
Also, God gives us sufficient resources for whatever we need. Phil 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. and 2Cor 9:8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work.
Yes, we may still have trials and troubles, but we will be delivered from all of them! Psalms 34:4-6.
4 I sought the Lord, and he heard me, And delivered me from all my fears.
5 They looked unto him, and were lightened: And their faces were not ashamed.
6 This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him, And saved him out of all his troubles.
Likewise God has us covered with health and healing. See Exodus 15:26 And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee. and Exodus 23:25 And ye shall serve the Lord your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.
Christians are not only given healing for themselves, but they are given the authority to heal others as well, Mark 16:18They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt (hinder) them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
... Comparing translations, they all say that they shall and will lay hands on the sick, and the sick shall and will recover and get well.
Nothing shall be impossible for those who operate in faith. Matt 17:20And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
Phil 4:19 says God will meet ALL our needs. But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
True Christians have Christ’s guarantee that he will personally help them – John 14:13-14 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. This of course applies only to true followers of Christ – those who abide in Christ, trust and obey him, and keep his commandments (John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments)
We may even see miracles.
How can this be?
Higher laws exist that take precedent over mere physical law. Just as an airplane uses the law of lift to supersede the law of gravity, spiritual law also supersedes physical law. Miracles are possible because all higher spiritual forces take precedent over lower physical laws.
Christians have been given spiritual authority over this lower physical realm!
Of course, we need faith to effectively use our spiritual authority. Faith comes from hearing, Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
When we listen to what God is telling us in the Bible, we will increase our faith. …Then nothing shall be impossible to us – Matt 17:20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.and nothing shall by any means hurt us! – Luke 10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt (harm) you.
Therefore, whatever happens to us, God has it covered! Romans 8:38-39 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
In the illustration below I reference the account of the disciples taking Jesus into the boat with them, and immediately arriving at their destination… Sea meets sky, heaven meets earth, and all difficulties are overcome when we do the same!
According to news reports an unstoppable Russian Kinzhal nuclear-capable hypersonic 2,000 km range missile was the first hypersonic missile to be used in the Ukraine war.
The Ukraine war and/or the Israel–Hamas war can easily escalate into World War 3. Check the video above, and watch the section that gives details on how Kinzhal missiles may play a big part in this.
It’s interesting to note that Kinzhal means a dagger in the Russian language, and it says in Revelation 6:4 that the RED horse (of war) is given a ‘Great Sword.’ And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.
In Greek, according to Strong’s Concordance, the term ‘great sword‘ can also be translated as great, or high, or loud dagger, in English, or KINZHAL in Russian.
The verse in Revelation implies that the Kinzhal, or high dagger, may even be a means by which peace is taken from the earth!
Because the missiles can weave past interceptors, other nations cannot fully defend themselves against this weapon.
So is the Revelation Red Horse prophecy about to unfold to a greater extent, or is that too, just an interesting coincidence?
“And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.”
Have you ever watched a YouTube video showing a Pentecostal type of healing service, and been appalled by the lack of dignity, and the irreverence shown during the procedures?
The most well known examples of this type of unholy carry-on can be seen in videos of Benny Hinn meetings, and some other demonstrations of this sort are even worse!
You’re left shaking your head, and wondering how that type of circus carry-on could possibly be endorsed by God.
I believe there is much deception in this area. I have in mind Scriptures such as 1 Cor 14:33 and 1 Cor 14:40 that reveal many of the meetings that are held in God’s name are actually not from God.
Please be careful of the many deceptions with this subject. However, my question is, could the large number of healings all be fake? Are some people actually healed in this modern era?
Is divine healing for today, or not?
I’ve had those sorts of questions for many years.
My main question has been, if SOME of the healings are genuine, why would God work through people that have such woefully incorrect doctrines?
Let’s look into this more deeply.
Satan does counterfeit healings. I’ve not had experience with Pentecostal meetings, but I’m highly skeptical about most of them. However, from my research, not all healings are of demonic origin.
In a video from Curry Blake, talking about many of the early healing ministries, Curry explained that although some of their beliefs were not accurate, their faith in God, that God is still a healer today, WAS accurate, and as a result, God met their faith!
Here are a couple of Mike Hoesch videos on the subject of healing.
Undeniable healing story with video proof.
You can find more Mike Hoesch videos on YouTube, but, as with all Pentecostal believers, he is not always correct in his teachings.
Most of modern Christianity get it wrong in the way they seek healing. This is explained by Curry Blake. Curry’s teachings are usually good, but again, please use caution. – Because of his Pentecostal beliefs, not all of Curry’s doctrines or statements are correct either.
You can also find Curry Blake videos on YouTube.
I think Curry teaches that it is always God’s will to heal, but I think the Bible does not back this up completely, because not everyone in the Bible was always healed. For example, 2 Kings 13:14-21 “Now Elisha was fallen sick of his sickness whereof he died.”
The Hem of His Garment
In Mark 5:24-34 there is a story about a woman who touched the hem of Jesus garment and was healed.
However, the story of Jesus’ garment follows on in Mark 6:55 and Mark 6:56. Also Matt 14:36.
The detail about the hem of Jesus’ garment is interesting.
Mark’s account says that just touching Jesus healed them, but in Matthew’s account it appears to say they specifically touched his hem. I don’t know which scenario is most accurate. But could there be a reason to touch his hem?
Actually, yes!
An obvious reason is those who were lying on beds would not have had to reach up so far to do it.
However, for those standing, touching his hem physically, would require BOWING DOWN to Jesus, but because Jesus was God in the flesh, and because humans come from the ground and return to it (see Gen 3:19) and because Jesus came from above (John 8:23) , SYMBOLICALLY, they would have been REACHING UP to touch Jesus’ hem.
In Numbers 15:38-41 there is a command to put a blue ribbon on the hem of garments. Jesus’ garment would have had a hem with a blue ribbon in it. It is said that the blue symbolised the sky, but the Bible indicates touching the blue ribbon symbolised touching all righteousness, which Jesus fulfilled.
The Fringe of Time
There is one more interesting thing about the hem.
Mal 4:2 says ‘But unto you that fear (i.e. give worship to/respect) my name, shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his WINGS.‘
The word WINGS is Strong’s H3670 and means an edge/extremity/border/corner/uttermost part.
In a garment, the edge means the hem.Jesus had healing on the wings, or edges of his garment.
Touching the hem fulfilled prophecy… There is a 2,000 year time gap since Jesus came to earth, and we are living on the EDGE/FRINGE/HEM of prophesied TIME, but the hope of healing is still available to us today because, according to that prophecy, Jesus HAS arisen with healing in his wings(or edges).

intolerancenoun unwillingness to accept views, beliefs, or behaviour that differ from one’s own.
The above dictionary definition sounds really, really bad, doesn’t it? In fact, I can’t remember ever having read anything good about intolerance.
But I think it can be a good thing, and here’s why.
God has blessed me with a car that runs on diesel. It delivers more power than a petrol engine of the same size, and it’s quite economical.
If I were to put petrol in it, the result would be quite bad.
That’s because my car is intolerant of petrol.
It doesn’t run on LPG, water, or lemonade either. It simply wasn’t designed for it.
So, I’m fussy about using only diesel.
It’s a CAR, not a blender!
Therefore, when God says DON’T do something… I don’t!
The same goes for other things in my life. I figure that God, my Creator, knows how humans are meant to function.
This is Why
This is why I try not to put junk food into my body.
I try not to think junk thoughts either, and I’m also fussy about lots of other decisions I make.
Plus I’m quite intolerant towards pagan practices and ideas because they dishonor God and are harmful to my well-being.
Does that make me unloving?
Well NO… It’s the pagan practices, or the pagan politics, that I don’t love. But I can still love the people who are the victims of the deception they embrace.
This is why intolerance can be a good thing.
This is how you can know that people who say you shouldn’t condemn perverts have warped thinking.
Would you prefer a car that runs well, or not?
It should not take long to figure out who really has a message of love, and who doesn’t.
In Exodus 32:8, & 9-10 God was angry with the children of Israel when they made a golden calf for an idol to worship. But Moses pleaded for the people in Exo 32:11 and God accepted his pleas, and didn’t wipe them all out – Exo 32:14.
You might say God was intolerant, but God IS also love, 1 John 4:8.
Some Old Testament Bible stories are challenging to understand. But many quite reasonableBible concepts are increasingly labeled as ‘hate speech‘ by people who themselves HATE God’s authority.
The premise that the Bible carries no authority also shows a huge lack of understanding. There is ample evidence to respect what the Bible teaches.
Part of the lack of understanding is when we are told that we should tolerate perversion in order to show love.
That’s an amazingly ignorant belief.
It’s like saying I should tolerate putting dirt in my cars fuel tank, and expect it to keep running.
Our society tolerates perversion more and more… and then people wonder why things aren’t going well!
But the answer should be obvious. We can maintain standards and still have love. 1 Cor 13:6-7 is about rejoicing in the truth, with love. It combines both concepts.
God, who IS love, is tolerant towards people, but is also intolerant towards sin.
Romans 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold (down) the truth in unrighteousness.

In the past, God sent prophets who were alsointolerant.
The following story about Elijah is a great example, taken from 1 Kings 18, beginning in verse 17:
And it came to pass, when Ahab saw Elijah, that Ahab said unto him, Art thou he that troubleth Israel? And he answered, I have not troubled Israel; but thou, and thy father’s house, in that ye have forsaken the commandments of the LORD, and thou hast followed Baalim.
Now therefore send, and gather to me all Israel unto mount Carmel, and the prophets of Baal four hundred and fifty, and the prophets of the groves four hundred, which eat at Jezebel’s table. So Ahab sent unto all the children of Israel, and gathered the prophets together unto mount Carmel.
And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him.
And the people answered him not a word.
Then said Elijah unto the people, I, even I only, remain a prophet of the LORD; but Baal’s prophets are four hundred and fifty men. Let them therefore give us two bullocks; and let them choose one bullock for themselves, and cut it in pieces, and lay it on wood, and put no fire under: and I will dress the other bullock, and lay it on wood, and put no fire under: And call ye on the name of your gods, and I will call on the name of the LORD: and the God that answereth by fire, let him be God. And all the people answered and said, It is well spoken. And Elijah said unto the prophets of Baal, Choose you one bullock for yourselves, and dress it first; for ye are many; and call on the name of your gods, but put no fire under. And they took the bullock which was given them, and they dressed it, and called on the name of Baal from morning even until noon, saying, O Baal, hear us. But there was no voice, nor any that answered. And they leaped upon the altar which was made.
And it came to pass at noon, thatElijah mocked them,
Comment. No doubt, this would be labeled ‘hate speech’ in today’s world!
and said, Cry aloud: for he is a god; either he is talking, or he is pursuing (relieving himself), or he is in a journey, or peradventure he sleepeth, and must be awaked. And they cried aloud, and cut themselves after their manner with knives and lancets, till the blood gushed out upon them. And it came to pass, when midday was past, and they prophesied until the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that there was neither voice, nor any to answer, nor any that regarded.
And Elijah said unto all the people, Come near unto me. And all the people came near unto him. And he repaired the altar of the LORD that was broken down.
Comment. Elijah wanted the people to not only come near to him, but also to come near to God, and wake up to the lies they were being told, and understand the truth – that God loved them, and wanted to save them from the consequences of their deception.
And Elijah took twelve stones, according to the number of the tribes of the sons of Jacob, unto whom the word of the LORD came, saying, Israel shall be thy name: And with the stones he built an altar in the name of the LORD: and he made a trench about the altar, as great as would contain two measures of seed.
And he put the wood in order, and cut the bullock in pieces, and laid him on the wood, and said, Fill four barrels with water, and pour it on the burnt sacrifice, and on the wood. And he said, Do it the second time. And they did it the second time. And he said, Do it the third time. And they did it the third time. And the water ran round about the altar; and he filled the trench also with water.
And it came to pass at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that Elijah the prophet came near, and said, LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, let it be known this day that thou art God in Israel, and that I am thy servant, and that I have done all these things at thy word. Hear me, O LORD, hear me, that this people may know that thou art the LORD God, and that thou hast turned their heart back again.
Then the fire of the LORD fell, and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench.
And when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces: and they said, The LORD, he is the God; the LORD, he is the God.
And Elijah said unto them, Take the prophets of Baal; let not one of them escape. And they took them: and Elijah brought them down to the brook Kishon, and slew them there.
Comment. The prophets of Baal, whom Elijah slew, were promoting idolatry, perversion, lies, and probably child sacrifice, like the Baal worshippers in Jer 19:5. However, in today’s era the media would rather censor this story for promoting violence, and promote woke BS, and the modern equivalents of those sins instead!
But, in case readers of this message still don’t get the message, I’m not promoting violence, I am promoting adherence to God’s laws of love, correctly understood and applied.
Elijah’s message was really the same as God’s Message to this present degenerate society, written in Deuteronomy 30:
“I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you LIFE and death,
blessing and cursing:
Therefore, choose LIFE, that both thou and thy seed MAY LIVE”
